These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.akm-music.com and the messaging channels we operate, including WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger. They are an agreement between you and Ajmal Khan Mohammed Music Centre LLC ("AKM Music", "we", "us"). By using the site or messaging us, you accept these Terms.

Who we are

AKM Music is a musical instrument retailer and service centre based at Hamdan Road No 5, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at sales@akm-music.com or +971 2 621 9929.

Using our site

• You may browse, and contact us about products and services, for your own personal or business purposes.
• You agree not to misuse the site — no attempts to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful.
• Site content, including text, images, logos and layout, belongs to AKM Music or its licensors and may not be reproduced commercially without our permission.

Products, prices and availability

• Product listings, prices and stock levels are provided for guidance and can change without notice.
• Prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include VAT where applicable.
• Images are illustrative; actual finishes and specifications may vary by model and batch.
• A price or availability shown on the site, or quoted in a message, is not a binding offer. An order is confirmed only when we confirm it directly.
• If an item turns out to be unavailable or listed at an incorrect price, we will tell you and offer an alternative, an amended price, or a full refund.

Automated replies on our messaging channels

To answer common questions quickly, messages sent to our WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook accounts may receive an automated reply generated with the help of artificial intelligence.

• Automated replies are for general guidance only and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
• They are not binding quotations, stock confirmations or professional advice.
• Anything that matters — a price, availability, a delivery date, a repair assessment — should be confirmed with our team before you rely on it.

Orders, payment and delivery

• Payment terms are agreed at the time of order. We may use third-party payment providers, whose own terms apply to the payment itself.
• Delivery timeframes are estimates, and delays caused by suppliers, shipping or customs are outside our control.
• Risk in goods passes to you on delivery or collection.

Returns, repairs and rentals

• Returns and exchanges are handled in line with UAE consumer protection law and the condition of the item. Please contact us as soon as possible.
• Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer; we assist with claims but the warranty terms are theirs.
• Repair, tuning and rental work is quoted before it begins, and rented instruments remain our property throughout the rental.

Third-party services

The site links to and uses services operated by others, including Google, Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) and payment providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.

Limitation of liability

Our site and messaging channels are provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on automated replies, guidance prices, or estimated availability. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site or our messaging channels after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
