Music classes FAQ
How much do music classes cost at AKM Music?
The monthly package is AED 600 + 5% VAT for 8 one-on-one sessions of 45 minutes — two lessons a week. The 3-month package is AED 1,650 + 5% VAT for 24 sessions, which saves AED 150. The price is the same for every instrument.
Which instruments can I learn?
Piano and keyboard, acoustic, electric and classical guitar, bass guitar, violin, drums and singing. If you want to learn something else, ask us on WhatsApp.
Which styles of music do you teach?
Classical, jazz, gospel and Arabic music. Tell us the music you love and your teacher builds the lessons around it.
Are the classes for children or adults?
Both. Lessons are one-on-one, so they are paced for each student — children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to advanced players.
Do you prepare students for Trinity exams?
Yes. Our teachers prepare students for Trinity College London graded exams. Tick “Yes” on the registration form and we will plan the lessons around your exam.
When are lessons held?
By appointment, Saturday to Thursday between 9 AM and 9 PM, and Friday between 4:30 PM and 9 PM. We fit your two weekly lessons into times that suit you.

At AKM Music, Plot C146, Hamdan Road No 5, behind the Millennium Hotel, Al Dana, Abu Dhabi.
How do I register?
Fill in the registration form on this page. A teacher replies on WhatsApp to confirm your schedule and start date. You pay at the counter on the day of your first lesson. You can also call +971 2 621 9929.
Is there a free trial lesson?
Yes. Your first trial lesson of 15 to 30 minutes is free, so you can meet the teacher before you register.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
A missed lesson can be made up before your package expires. The monthly package allows 2 missed lessons and the 3-month package allows 6. If AKM cancels a lesson, it is never counted as missed.
What is the Friday group rehearsal?
Every enrolled student can join our group rehearsal on Friday from 7 to 9 PM at no extra cost, to play with other students and build confidence on stage.
